Mrs. Ruby "Glee" Lindley, 78 of Franklin St d. 7:28 a.m. Feb 5, 1978 at St. Eliz Hospital, Danville. She had been ill 4 months and hospitalized several times. Born October 9, 1899 in Steam Corner, she was the daughter of Uriel & Martha Harvey VAUGHAN. She was married in 1944 to Perry Sylvanis Lindley who died in 1944. She was a member of the Builders and MIssion Circle of the First Baptist Church in Danville. Her hobbies were raising flowers and sewing. Survivors include two brothers, Alfred L. Vaughan of St. Paul MN and Ralph E. Vaughn of Covington Rt 1; and several nieces and nephews. Service at 2 p.m. EST on Wednesday at DeVerter Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Stuermer officiating. Burial in Harveysburg cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Danville. - kbz
